Walk entire exterior of property and pick up as needed.
Identify landscaping concerns.
Inspect air conditioning equipment and report any unusual noises.
Check sprinkler system operation and identify any broken heads, cracked pipes, etc.
Perform visual inspection of your pool/spa and pool equipment. Add water if needed.
Ensure there is no damage from storms or intrusion
Look for signs of pest infestation.
Report any mold or weeds on driveways, sidewalks and patios.
Pick up any newspapers, mail or packages left out or in the mailbox. Bring items inside your home.
Interior
Operate the thermostat to ensure proper cooling and return to desired temperature. Check air handler for excessive dirt, unusual noise. Replace filter if needed.
Ensure alarm system is functioning properly.
Check all doors and windows for function and ensure they are locked.
Check for broken windows and intrusions.
Check all appliances for proper function including the refrigerator, oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer and dryer.
Identify any fire hazards. Outlets, cords, etc.
Flush all toilets and run water in faucets.
Inspect under kitchen cabinets and vanities for leaks, mold, mildew, odors, etc.
Look for any signs of water damage on walls, ceiling, baseboards, etc.
Turn off main water valve to the house.
Check breaker panel for tripped breakers
Check hot water heater for “vacation” setting
Look for signs of pest problems

Ensure anything that can fly away is put inside. Patio furniture, trash cans, etc.
Shut down pool equipment.
After the storm we will inspect the property, remove shutters, clean up and return items to their places.
